We are looking for a talented person with strong background in User Interface and programming skills to work in a small and dynamic team at Dolby. The candidate should demonstrate outstanding capabilities in problem solving, should be self-governing and eager to learn new technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain new technology in Dolby’s world leading communication products
- Play a key role in a high performance team that has a track record for developing innovative products
- Represent product engineering in User Interface/Xperience design
- Lead software design and implementation of User Interface
- Optimize graphics performance in an embedded system
Qualifications:
- 3 – 5 years of experience implementing UI on embedded devices with ARM cores
- Expert level C/C++ development portfolio
- Hands-on/In-Depth experience with UI frameworks like Qt
- Developing UI applications for Linux (other OS experience a plus)
- Experience in developing graphics applications for resource constrained platforms (software only rendering)
- Ability to analyze and optimize graphics performance
- Web development, database skills and networking
