We are looking for a talented person with strong background in networking security architecture and programming skills to work in a small and dynamic team at Dolby. The candidate should demonstrate outstanding capabilities in problem solving, should be self-governing and eager to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain new technology in Dolby’s world leading communication products
- Play a key role in a high performance team that has a track record for developing innovative products
- Develop platform software for Dolby communication products
*LInux device driver development on embedded systems
- Software upgrade/downgrade design and implementation
- Networking services for VoIP systems

Qualifications:
- 5 - 7 years of experience in networking on embedded devices
- Excellent C programming skills
- Good understanding of embedded linux and experience with device drivers
- Experience configuring bootloaders and BSPs
- Good working knowledge of various Linux-based filesystems such as ext-3, jffs2, squashfs and ubifs with ability to initialize, configure and troubleshoot these filesystems
- Experience configuring and using Linux-based networking utilities
- Optimizing the Linux kernel and root filesystem to maximize performance and minimize image footprint
- Experience with OpenEmbedded based build systems
